Search Engines like to see the keyword in url, pagename, title tag, description, content title, links to to other pages
and external links linking to your website

If you have all those in place you will reach max on page ranking score. But if other good quality sites have more links pointing to them with keyword dogfood in the link anchor text they will still outrank you even if they dont have a lot of seo.

Its all relevant. I wrote an article on my website about this check it out on websitefixes.com

Well, it is better to have your keyword in together with your web site name.
Also, .com is better than .net. Try to go for.com

Use the keywords in the URL if possible. You would expect to see an increase ranking from that. Also use keywords in title tags, H1, H2, and in the content.

having keywords in domain is the first step to rank in SERP. Many other factors also contribute to rank in SERP, such as backlinks and how old is your domain is.

It is important on your account history, which means how old or the 'age' of your domain, all of this is majot factor to have a good rank.

    hi,

i always go back to this when asking about google: does what i am doing meet with their own giudleines and values? if it does great, if not do something different. Google is all about relevancy and uniqueness. If you make everything you do relevant to the searcher and google you will do well so make the domain relevant to the keywords, make the keywords relevant to the text, make the text relevant to the reader and on and on,
