Does throwing a bunch of keywords in a domain name help SEO? In other words, if I have my primary targeted keywords right in the domain name, can that help for at least those specific keywords if searched?
Yes. The domain that contains main keyword can get more traffic as I am getting. But remember don't over crowed domain name with keywords so that people can remember URL easily.
I think more than two keywords are not usefull. Just choose to keywords and optimize your site for it.
Well having keyword in the domain does have SEO benefits but not as much as Dead On Keyword Domains, which have the exact keyword in the domain, e.g. keyword.com, keyword.net or keyword.net will always outrank keywordsomethingelse given they have equal amounts of SEO. I have seen dead on domains outrank others even though they had less SEO done on them. Google always gives them preferential treatment. So, if you can find a domain with the exact keyword and nothing else go for it in an instant, because they are hard to find.
Yes, it helps a lot. However don't use more than 3 words in your domain, it looks really spammy. In the long term you should be able to rank high with any domain if your SEO skills are good enough.
Yes the domain name contains keyword that is good and promote quickly. But it depends your keyword is short than people remember it.
If your domain has your primary keyword than it will help to promote your site and help to get rank in SERPs easily on that keyword. So, always try to keep your keyword in your domain.
Do a rapid search for some high competitive keywords and give a look at search results. Very often keyword matching domain names are at first places.
Exact match domains - where your domain is made up of your keywords - rank very well at the moment. This makes them ideal for niche websites. However, what you need to remember is that the more of these websites that are around (nowadays, lots) the more likely it is that google will change things so that they dont get as much love as they used too. Google has already said several times that branding is important, and if you read between the lines you could take that as being 'things will change' .... currently, yes - exact match domains will serve you well... just don't put all of your eggs in one basket.
Targetting one specific highly searching keyword is beneficial, i don't think throwing in more then one would help much.
@OP - yes it does help although I wouldn't recommend "throwing a bunch of keywords in the domain name", just the primary is enough. Just don't make it look a bit silly and odd.
