    Hi there,

I am wondering if there is a way to find out which keywords my competition is ranking well for (say in the top 20)?

Basically I would like to better understand my competitions SEO strategy and which keywords they are targetting and ultimately which ones have they been able to rank well in.

I know I can check the meta tags on the competition site, but I actually want to know well which ones they are ranking well in...

    Any suggestions?

    thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

First check the meta tags like what you said, and then check it manually on search engine.

You can check the meta tags and check their website rankings on sites like alexa.com

You can also check the traffic that they are getting on websites like quantcast.com

Quantcast.com gives you a really good idea on how they are operating and will help you figure out what you want to target and such.

Then like MasBudz said, check it manually on the search engine.

firstly you do meta tags check and then check them individually on search engine. I will suggest you to check the traffic on Quantcast.com, its gives such an awesome idea of operating and help us telling what to target.

I agree with you... Btw, thanks for siting a traffic checker tool. I haven't try using this one but I'll check on it. Thanks again.

Yesterday I asked myself the same thing, and I've found that alexa gives you an insight of the keywords that brings traffic to a site

    you should check it out

Before there is a tool seodigger.com to check the keywords of the site ranking on top 30 of Google and MSN. But now it became paid tool which is SEMrush.com

I think seoworkers.com is good however I still prefer alexa for monitoring their keyword.
