    Hello to one and all.

Do you take more notice of your keywords CTR or your ad-group CTR?

Certain Keywords i have running, have a CTR of 32%
but the overall ad-group CTR is only 6.2%

    Which is more important?

    Thanks

Depends on which keywords have got the high CTR. I group similar terms together which means that certain variances of the term have far higher impressions than others. Generally if I see a CTR of around 32% its because its a less frequently search for term which happens to have received a few clicks.

    Thanks for the advise.

    One other quick question.
How do you know when to lower you bid?

    For Example:
If my ad has a CTR of 6%, and i'm paying £1 per click. When can i drop it down to 0.50p per click?

Do i slowly drop the price and keep an eye on my ad positions?

CTR is most important at the keyword level as that's where the QS is assigned.
