Keywords - Capitals

    Hi all,

    When doing keyword analysis, all of the tools base keywords in lower case. If I apply these keyword, for instance in the title of my homepage with the first character of the keywords in Capital letters, am I still targetting these same keywords im analyzing? Must the keywords on my page be in lower case to full optimize..?

    The search engines are smart enough to know that upper and lower case of a phrase usually means the same thing. Check the upper and lower case usage by some of your top competitors to be sure. I have seen some phrases return different results based on the upper and lower case usage. So it may depend on the exact phrase in question.

    we use some keywords that are in all capitals because they are commonly used abbreviations for our industry and it doesn't seem to matter.

    well it's good to know it. I didn't have information related to that. Anyway, I think that is much better writing always without capital letters, it's easier.
