Keywords are matching what I prescribed

So anyways I made a site about 1.5 months ago, ending up getting a lot of great press from people in the industry (which made a ton of backlinks, because if people write a press story on a reputable site, it is copied and reproduced by litterally thousands of sites looking for content.)

Anyways, I was top ranked for 3 keywords...ones that no one would ever search for unless they know about the site.

Today, I check my sitemaps and bam I am listed good rankings for over 20 keywords (all in the top 10), which would be great for any website, but unfortunately its not so good.

I have some really nice ranks at the following words/phrases:
    candria - 6
    kg mens warehouse - 7
mufta - 9 (what was google thinking, I am the mufta master)
    trolltime - 7
    elendril - 9
    moneyboy - 12
    and the list goes on.

So basically this has made me come to the conclusion that I needed to ask a few questions about SEO:

    1. How often is SERP updated? This seems to be the second update in 1.5 months.

    2. What causes google to select your 'keywords'? certainly those items I didn't put in my metacode.(is it the occurences of a particular word in a page)

    3. What is the max amount of keywords a website can have?

    4. Are all pages index seperately? For example say I have do a search on history of education, I will get a hit for Education - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, which gives me the indication that Wikipedia's pages are all seperate entities.

    5. I am working aon a new page featuring 500,000pages or more, not a spam site, all relevant content...should I limit the outbound links to none, so when googlebot comes, it will bounce around through all the pages in the site, and get the most effective index?

    6. Should I be focusing on marketing one major keyword per page, or having 2-3 main keywords?

    7. Should I have scrambled eggs for breakfast or waffles?

    Yours Truly,
