Keywords and dashes in Domain name, good or bad?

    Just found some negative on dash. Is you have a site, just to give an example red-apple.com
    Someone might digit on google red - apple and that becomes a minus (to google all waht has red and doesn't have apple)

    Whatever you do keep it short. Long URLS are not clicked as much as shorter ones and it is one thing gettng a top listing but you need people to click your link.

    Yes I agree, we did this mistake and found that nobody can digit the url, too long. Anyway very few people now goes by url.

    My website is rane-nature-cures.com and experienced no discrimination in rankings in due of hyphens.I am of the opinion it helps to people to keep in mind the web site name, as without hyphens it will be a unfamiliar name

    One dash doesn't seem to matter :) so try to only have to fit one in if possible.
