But I have a confusion about it, some time we see that some keywords does not seem more searches on google adword tool but having much more competition. Would you please help me to explain which of the keywords are best for our new web site? Wordpress programming or Hire a Wordpress Expert?????

    Hi, David!

Keyword research...oh boy! Different people have different ideas about how to evaluate keywords. A lot of it has to do with what kind of site you have and what you plan to do with it. But maybe this will help.

The competition bar is about AdWords. It shows you the number of advertisers globally bidding on each keyword relative to all the keywords across Google. So it's designed for the advertiser to know how competitive an ad placement would be for a given keyword. This is why sometimes the competition seems greater than the searches. Those profitable buying keywords may not get searched as much, but the people that search them (buyers) are worth more than someone out for an informational joy ride on Google. So advertisers create higher competition for those cash words. Does that make sense?

For site-building purposes, we can extrapolate that keywords with more competition are definitely lucrative (because otherwise why would advertisers keep shelling out cash for PPC on them?). But we can also assume that getting first page ranking (and other SEO) will be more difficult because "all the good seats are taken".

If you've already started blogging or uploading to your new site, try typing your URL into the website box in the Keyword Tool. Even if it's still a relatively new site, Google will give you its top suggestions. Sorted by relevancy, that may give you an idea of how Google is thinking. And that may help you decide.

    Good luck!

I have a question why do u want to restrict yourself by using one keyword. You could use both but if you want to use any one then I would recommend "hire a wordpress expert".

In the Google Keyword Tool there are two search boxes at the top. On the left, Word or Phrase. On the right, Website.

I you put your web address into the Website search box, as long as it's not an empty domain, Google will suggest keywords for you.

Thanks for your suggestion. I know about that and I have already searched through this tool. But I think so it is not more helpful because it suggested these keywords for our site suwarnasoft:
    web application development services
    ecommerce shopping cart
    ecommerce shopping cart software
    application development service
    software development service
    shopping cart development
    web application developers
    ecommerce web application
    custom web applications
    application development services

But these all keywords having top competition in google search and as I told you that our site is new and it would be more difficult for us to compete this much traffic. Could I use the words like professional, hire, best, affordable etc, before these keywords? Please suggest me as I have mentioned in my above question, suggest me.........................................
