yes try hotscripts, if your lookinf for an overall cms try drupal, mambo or xoops.

blogs can be turned into news sites also if its just posting news articles, but blogs have limitations if you plan on expanding, wordpress 2.0 would be my answer.

all of the above are free :)

There has been much debate about that. I think you have little to worry about both.

Google isn't giving keywords in a domain name the weight they once used to have.

The new thing is to create a brand name for your website - Google, Technorati, etc.

sometimes the words that mean pretty much nothing are the best ones.

read a newspaper and see if there are any words u could use.

also if u use godaddy to register your names, try doing an advanced search type in a word and it will give u suggestion based on that word and related words.

so for e.g. you typed in love

    some suggestions might be

    loveofmylife.com
    mylove.com
    myheart.com
    myrelationshipsite.com

    etc

Just remember that if you have an website that sells for instance monitors then it would be optimal to have monitors.com but if you sell a lot of other electronics as well then it would be more suitable and best to go with a name that can be branded and is easy to remember for your visitors.

if you are targetting a keyword with let say 7 million competition , then you need to do all the on site Optimization .. and having the KW in the domain is one of them .

That would be 7 million other results for the same keyword that is being used by potential visitors.

When you do a search with google you see a x number of available results and this would be your competition.

    google:

(a play on the word googol, reflecting the immense amount of information to be found on the web) to search the web with a standard search engine such as Google® or Yahoo!

Googol = The number 10 raised to the power 100 (10100), written out as the numeral 1 followed by 100 zeros.

    Hi,

Keyword in URL is helping you for ranking but if you pick any domain and make a page of your keyword ex:

www.domain.com/your keyword it makes importance then the name in URL.

If you put your keyword ex:
    1. www.yourkeyword.com
    2. www.yourkeyword-secoundarykeyword.com
    3. www.yourkeyword-secoundarkeyword-otherkeyword.com

Above three URL first one is only look nice and accepting on. Other two is not a unique domain name. So, If you use your keyword in your domain than it is a readable and meaning full. Because no one can type or remember all character of your website, So, best way is take a domain name which will be shorter and related to your main keyword.

Then make a page for you main and primary keyword
    Ex:www.domain.com/your keyword

    Rajput Jitendra
