If you want to target a keyword, do it needs to be in domain? Like for example to build a site and want to target a keyword "bollywood" do I need to have www.bollywoodblabla.com? for top ranking
It does help significantly, only do not spam your domain with keywords like for instance bollywood-movies-best-bollywood-movies-bollywood.com A domain with a keyword does certainly help but does not necessarily mean instant top rankings, it is indeed one of the many factors that contributes and a keyword in a domain is a important factor that can contribute a lot.
none of my domains have the keyword in domain and they all rank well, i think keyword in url is equivilent to keyword in <H1> tag
H1 tags are indeed important and do ad value but are not equal. Keyword(s) in the domain stands above h1 tags.
so you meant we are loosing points if we dont have this word in domain. Well we want to target this keyword as most part of our site will be based on bollywood and news from it but we want to include other sections like sports. etc so just bollywood in our domian will make an impression on user that this site is only based on bollywood. So please suggest what should we do. AS our site WONT be based only on bollywood shoud we take domain like www.bollywoodworld.com or not? or shuld we keep any buzz word? or should we brand our domain name....

it does not have to be in domain, but in the url overall, if you was targetting "free mens aftershave" then the url can be anything.com/free-mens-aftershave and that would count has having keyword in domain/url
Since your site is not only concentrated on the bollywood industry and also discusses various other topics then it would be less important for you. I would go for a domain that is catchy and easy to remember in your situation. If you would for instance want to sell bollywood movies then i would suggest to put at least the word bollywood in your domain but also in such an manor that it's easy for your visitors to remember and to use.

If you only want to target the word bollywood, then yes. You would also have to do more on page SEO optimization for this term.
like domain www.chitchat.com is already takes so what if we take www.chit-chat.com? is there any chance loosing our vistios coz the might type www.chitchat.com instead of www.chit-chat.com coz they heard chitchat.com form their friends etc?

Well, that could be a problem if people are telling each other about chitchat.com but instead the site you have is chit-chat.com. Search engines will recognize the words as two keywords. You should try to find a name without a hyphen (hyphen is this symbol - ) to avoid confusing with your visitors. But for SEO purposes it can be usefull.
