Can anyone tell me the differrence for typing the keyword in quotes and without quotes. For example when i type my keyword newyork city hotel. I am not found my site in google serps. But when i type "newyork city hotel" , my site is in google SERPS. In how many day' my site will appear in google serps without quotes. Any Expert idea?
The first one is an automatic "and" search. The quoted one is a phrase search. I suggest you do some reading about the basics of searching http://www.google.com/help/basics.html You will also want to seperate newyork to new york
The "quotes" search requires all the keywords to be present. You'll notice that by using it the number of sites comes down quite dramatically. If you're using it as a test, the thing to remember is that your target market is not likely to use quotation marks.
While searching your sites with keyphrase placed in quotes (" ") means you'll only get results that include an exact phrase which you've searched. This is called " Exact Phrase Keywrod Match " And for without quotes, it will return all the results with anything before and after your words searched. This is called "Broad Match Keywords " Thanks, s a m p a t h
