Keyword URL rewritting

    Hi,

My website currently uses dynamic URLs and I want my web master to rewrite them so that they are static keyword URLs with the necessary 301 redirects in place to accomodate the required changes.

Will this have any adverse impact on my SERPs?

Are there any other issues I need to consider?

    Thanks

Shouldn't have much of an impact on the SERPs, this however depends on the number of dynamic pages that will be made static. I prefer you doing it steadily and slowly to avoid too much attention from the crawlers.
Are you on a custom CMS?

    Hi

    Thanks for the reply.

My site is a custom site and it has really good SERPs for very competitive keywords and I don't want to rick this without being sure about rewriting.

Will rewriting undo all the hard work I have put in to securing keyword anchor text links from some very good quality sites I have obtained?

    Thanks
