Keyword Tracking Tool

    Hi All,

I am looking for a decent Keyword Tracking tool where we can check how we are doing on various keywords. Would be handy to add loads of keywords and track them automatically (Historical data) would be good. But the problem is we don't have a Google SOAP API key, which Google has stopped issuing since December 2006.

Does anyone know of a tool which can do this? Somethin free would be excellent.

    Many thanks in advance!

You can try www.nichebot.com. You can find keywords, ranked from the most popular down to the lowest. Using a simple strategy, you can out weigh those on top coming from below and get more active backlinks resulting to better PR.

It depends on what to mean under "historical data". For example I use WebCEO Ranking Checker and it gives historical data - I mean it saves all the results I get using this tool. And then I can compare all the results I have and see trends in my ranking.

I use Professional Edition, but there is also free one with which your ranking checker is limited with 5 keywords per run. But with it you get 10 more great SEO tools :)
