CJ's network quality department can find that out, and the advertiser or CJ can always search those protected keywords themselves. If you're caught, you're liable to have all of your earnings from that advertiser reversed (even the money you made from non-violating terms), which would definitely not be good financially.

Like I said in my email. I would never violate the terms of my CJ agreement. Just not worth the risk. I have a real viable business with CJ.

    Be careful

It's very easy for commission junction / a marketing department / or an affiliate manager to know if you're bidding on protected terms. They'll simply look at the ID of the link and trace it to your account. When an affiliate prohibits bidding on a specific keyword - they'll notice if someone else starts bidding on that unique keyword and contact the affiliate manager for said program. Someone working on their keyword campaign will also notice the new competition, raising a red flag. For example, if you're competative with your bidding you could bumb the program from the top spot for the keyword you're bidding on. Like Depotgang said, it's best not to put your account standing in jeapordy. Best of luck!

Even if you try to cloak the traffic, the majority of CJ advertisers run 24/7 checks of search engines in different geographic locations to find violators. Don't try it. I've reversed thousands of dollars of affiliates who intentionally violate search policies in the programs that I work with over the years.
