Currently I use a spreadsheet to keep track of my websites' ranking for various keywords over time, but with a number of websites, each with many keywords and phrases, it's is rapidly becoming a less than optimal solution. What do other people here use for this purpose? and are there free apps to do this that are decent? I don't need all the bells and whistles, just something simple to eyeball and see where I need to focus my efforts.

i have used Seomoz where you can see competitor website and their back link (Juicy Link) , check rank and keyword analysis etc.
