Keyword tracker tool down?

After all these years, I'm surprised Shawn has let this go to its grave so tragically.

Yup, I got a full check in last night around 9pm CST it was working

 

It's not working now. It wasn't working last night. It hasn't been working for at least a week now. Except for backlinks.

 

That's all I've been able to get for more than a few weeks now

 

I've lost hope, and purchased an application that will do what I need

and if I donate some more today, what do I get for it? A tool that doesn't work?

Can someone based in the USA not call them and find out what is going on?

and we all may have to live without or at least start thinking to live without the tracker - may be without DP at all

millions of people disappear each year and the planet keeps going round

we have enjoy DP for a long while
many have benefited for a long while
now may be time to move on in life

My main concerns with buying a tool are...

1. I find Windows software increasingly has hidden nasty surprises and am reluctant to buy from outfits I don't know, ESPECIALLY in the SEO field where slime is so pervasive.

2. I don't necessarily trust developers to sacrifice features or coding time in return for less impact on Google which reduces our own risk (since it's presumably our API keys that are still being used.)

I'm not saying Rank Tracker falls into either category - just wish there was something else. I've seen the standard "satisfied users, fun features" page too often and don't want to run a virtual Windows for one program... I appreciated Shawn's explanations and hard work put into making sure this tool worked for everyone, and the relative freedom from risk given the donation based structure.

I have tried out their SEO spyglass and it was very good

 

Won't do you any good to call. Those numbers are for his software that people paid for and they don't even get return calls, so what do you think your chances are to get a return call on a free tool?

Seems like some people are just not getting it. If Shawn does anything be thankful, if not don't be surprised. Don't be shocked when DP is gone all together either he may just let it all go. Or maybe if he loses his case with ebay he will have the need to start programing again??

 

Looks dead to me...I was someone who donated so it auto check every day and it hasn't updated (it's been "stuck") since early October.

Oh well, was nice while it lasted.

 

It isn't working for me, either. It has worked one time in the last 2 weeks.

For all anyone seems to know, he could be sick, dead, on vacation, shacked up with a hot new girlfriend, contemplating his navel at some ashram or mourning his losses in the stock market. Does anyone actually KNOW anything?
