Keyword tracker registration

The keyword tracker requires a Google API key for registration. The Google help material says that these keys are no longer issued. Could someone please help in clarifying how I should go about registering for keyword tracker without a key? Thank you!

keyword tracker is a tool that serves to research a keyword. we can know how many people are looking for a specific keyword in a single day.
look for keywords in the search for the many people but have little competition.

 

I'm not sure if I'm talking about the same thing but if you want to research a keyword, go to https://adwords.google.com.au/select/KeywordToolExternal
and put in the keywords you're interested in. It will give you similar words and tell you how many hits the words get and how much competition you would have if you used the words.
