I just did the update and clicked on a couple of google and bing KWP and they worked. So I ran the full check and it did the backlinks and PR but then did not update any Google KWP but it did work on the Bing. Now when I click on just one I get the error: Your advanced usage script URL is invalid. You can update it over here.

But it already is updated and was working....

    Any thoughts?

Try it now. Was doing some stuff just now (specifically adding the checking to let people know if they needed to update it... just messed one thing up (which should be fixed now).

Thank you for fixing this amazing tool.

It used to be possible to search the first 200 positions, but it has been reduced to 20. This is unfortunate.

Is there any way to change the setting to it searches the first 100 or at least the first 50.

I updated my script, but I am still getting this error --

    Please fix the following errors...

The advanced usage script URL is not valid.
    \2

    Thoughts?

Really looking forward to getting this working again :) :)

    Thanks!

    You will laugh at me!

I re-opened the script and it started out

    /<php

Somehow that / got in there.

A Paste error or something! Bad Paste.

It is checking now and everything looks to be in order.

It was reduced partially due to load on the servers as we are approaching 100,000 registered users. Also, we are working within the bounds of Google's lame restrictions (you can't go more than 32 deep for Google no matter what).

I'm trying to figure out some way to enable the 200 deep (and 32 with Google) for some users, but not all (overloading the servers is a bad thing). Just not sure how to make that some sort of fair process. lol

The IP used for the results is the IP you are running the advanced usage script on.

Actually.... I just did some testing and Google quietly upped their limit on their depth restrictions. It appears we can technically go 64 deep now for Google.

For now, I set it so the old premium users (the ones that donated back in the day) can go 200 deep.

Will all accounts be able to 64 deep with Google? So far mine only goes 24 deep.

I haven't figured out how I'm going to work it for going up to 200 (up to 64 on Google) yet (I mean as far as deciding who gets to do it since I don't want everyone to be able to).

OK, the server is running PHP5.2.11

I copied the script, and pasted into wordpad, saved it as
tracker.php and uploaded it to the server. No extra characters.

But when I edit my account and try to save it
    I get the error message

"The advanced usage script URL is not valid."

    Anything missing?
    thanks

yes if you pay to be a premium user, wouldnt take advantage of the other features of premium so that makes the tool a no starter for me any longer.

    Nice while it lasted!

The tool doesn't change for the free users, so not sure what you mean. :)

Really glad to see the Keyword Tracker back in service! Thanks Shawn for getting it working again!

It's a bummer having to depend on Google's whims. I wonder if they would at some point offer a (cheap) paid service which would be more reliable?
