Keyword Tools vs. Traffic Estimator

I am trying to figure out which keywords to use, and I am using the number of searches for particular terms as one criteria in my decision.

But when I look up the number of searches for an individual keyword, I'll get different numbers on Keyword Tools versus Traffic Estimator. Does anyone know why their is a difference, and which one do you think is more accurate?

    Thanks.

Keyword tools would probably be better.
Traffic estimator would just give you a conservative estimate of the visitors that you will be having.

    Cheers!

    Keyword tool bar appears inaccurate.

Keyword tool is to find out the relevant keywords for a particular topic and traffic estimator will estimate the number of visitors to your site.

Besides the free ones offered by Google? You can try Traffic Travis. This Tool is a great way to measure traffic to your site.
I have been using this tool and it is a sure bust!
