    Hi all,

I'm wondering, for google adwords, wordtracker, seobook and keyworddiscovery. When are these stats pulled? Are they pulled on a daily basis? Do they pull stats from the past 3 months, do a calculation and spit out a daily average number? How exactly does the backend updating and processing work? I heard wordtracker only gathers data from machines that have the toolbar installed only, is this true? seobook uses wordtracker db. Adword tool is pretty much only good for ppc and not a good seo based tool. Are there any other good accurate tools?

    Thanks

Why would you say that the Google keyword tool is only good for ppc and not seo? Sure it shows competition level for ppc and ppc bid price, but more importantly it shows you search volume stats directly from Google. Even though the stats are obvious estimates, I still trust their data more than wordtracker. None of the keyword tools would be outputting stats on a daily basis. That would just be a huge waste of resources. More likely they would be outputting stats once a week or so. Really it doesn't matter how often they pull new stats.
