I have seen adwords external tool for a particular word telling me it is searched 110 time in july that means around 3 to 4 times daily but wordtracker and seobook tells it is searched around 40 times daily. A Huge difference.!! Someone tell me the correct and proper tool pleasese
Google keyword tools is the most accurate, However don't focus the numbers. Focus the ratio of the results.
There is no tool that will tell you accurate daily search volume. Look at all the possible keywords you can come up with for your niche (using wordtracker, Google, or whatever) and pick the highest reported search traffic from those, taking into account what you feel people will be searching for. What constitutes high traffic for one niche may be low for another - there are no absolutes.
The paid version of word tracker give the deep information for each keyword along with regional. It is the best keyword tool.
To track keywords across different verticals Google “Insights for Search†is an excellent additional tools. Try to use it alongwith google keywords tools to get more effective keywords.
I've used a bunch of tools for a long, long time. Google's external keyword tool is a good approximation of what's going on with google searches..it will be def. be hard to forecast daily searches. I do know of one tool, and i'm sure there are others, that will pull a list of currently being search terms off of google. It's one of the features of keyword research pro. If you can't think of a search term, it'll generate one for you based off of what people are currently searching for online. Pretty cool feature. But as for free tools to use, stick with the google keyword tool..and focus on the long tail keywords..THAT is where the money is that

That will be due to where they pick the results from, Google adwords will use their own data sent from their Google search engines, where as wordtracker uses data from metacrawlers.
Google keyword tools give suggestions for keyword phrases and the exact # of people doing the searching. You could by SEO software to take the guess work out of using the Google keyword tools.
