In the anchor text of my links, do I want to use the primary key words that are searched for the most for the specific page I'm linking to, or the keywords I want for the entire site in general? I have a theory that if I work on each individual blog page from my site and obtain back links with major relevancy to each specific page with a certain keyword or phrase in mind that I will always use in the anchor text when linking to that specific page, that I can get the most link juice for each page via the whole site ranks better in Google. For example let’s say the blog page title was How to Feed Dogs. Now out of those key words I found that "Feed Dogs" is searched for 11,000 times daily on various search engines and used this phrase 2-4% in my blog or web page. I found out that more people search the term "Feed Dogs" than any other part of that phrase. So in order to rank on page 1 of Google I then put "Feed Dogs" in all the anchor text links on all different websites I posted a link on that were related to my niche. Then I make them link back to that specific blog page thinking that it will give this page more link juice for that search term and eventually when people search "Feed Dogs" on Google this blog is on the first page. Am I completely off? Will this in the end help my page rank for the search term "Feed Dogs"? Please explain.
