Which type of Adwords campaign is better and more profitable, Keyword-Targeted or Placement-Targeted?
thanks for your advise, but as of now I receive much clicks coming from content network... is this ok?
i agree that content adwords clicks do not convert as well as search query clicks. However, the question is how much of a difference is it? How should i manage my campaign? How much of a % should be different between the two? anyone?
i believe there was a report published the other day that said search vs content averaged about 4% of spend on content.
It all depends on how much time you put into searching for keywords and if you are willing to do the proper research for placement targeting. We use placement targeting and keyword (both content and search). You really need to test each method for your niche and set daily budgets. In our case setting a lower bid for the content network works out great. If you use the reports you can fine specifc sites that do well and then target them with placement targeting since you know they convert. Trial and error - that is the way.
