Keyword Suggestion Tool Question / Problem

    Ok - since one of my sites is VBulletin Webmaster - I did a check via the Keyword Suggestion Tool for "VBULLETIN"



    The top result from overture was:

    powered vbulletin --------- 1,249.1 /day


    Now, I find it interesting because I cant imagine anyone searching for that term - but if you do a search for VBULLETIN you'll find many of the titles have "Powered By VBulletin" in them (I know, what a KW I chose, I basically am cometing with evert vb forum out there)

    SO im thinking the overture results are --- wrong??

    I would think that people looking to start a forum would search for VBulletin. I just did before I saw you post.

    I have a similar question.
    When I use the keyword tool for like (made up example) video game the keyword that will come #1 is something like game video... It kinda don't make sense...

    For a couple of reasons
    1.) To join the forum and make posts in them and using their signature links to make their websites spidered more often
    2.) They may have an SQL injection hack and are competing with buddies to see who can hack the most vB forums - this happened a while ago but I wonder if they are at it again

    There is same weird problem for the term "web hosting". Now the top term is "hosting web".

    I dont think anyone will search "hosting web" instead of web hosting. Is it that overture is faulty ?

    Overture orders the words alphabetically in most cases.

    Go Cart is a good example. You'll find 'cart go motorized' for example.

    Yeah - but what about the Powered Vbulletin part??

    If you do a search for vbulletin -- you will get alot of titles that end with "powered by vbulletin" because VB comes stock that way. I dont believe anyone searches for "Powered Vbulletin" --- yet it comes up as over 1200 searches per day in overture
