It's when you write an article full to the brim with keywords although it's not considered a wise practice in the current climate of google updates
It's just spamming your content with your desired keywords. This will make your content look seriously rubbish!! It won't be human friendly for sure!!
Keyword stuffing is NOT recommended at all. Google will basically ban any site resorting to this tactic. Here is a quote from their site: “Keyword stuffing†refers to the practice of loading a webpage with keywords in an attempt to manipulate a site’s ranking in Google’s search results. Filling pages with keywords results in a negative user experience, and can harm your site’s ranking. Focus on creating useful, information-rich content that uses keywords appropriately and in context." -Mike
Ooops...a little too quick on the send button. Meant to add this excellent advice about how best to use keywords from Google: "Include relevant words in your copy: Try to put yourself in the shoes of searchers. What would they query to find you? Your name/business name, location, products, etc., are important. It’s also helpful to use the same terms in your site that your users might type (e.g., you might be a trained “flower designer†but most searchers might type [florist]), and to answer the questions they might have (e.g., store hours, product specs, reviews). It helps to know your customers.I’d suggest including them in your titles as well. Hope this helps. -Mike
adding same keywords many times in meta title, or meta description or content area etc is called keyword stuffing. google did not like keyword stuffing maintain 4% to 5% keyword density in content...
putting too much keyword on your article with the intention of topping the search engine... it't totally unnecessary, it's like putting too much cheese on a pizza it gets salty and mushy.
Keyword stuffing is also referred to as keyword loading and spamdexing.it is the process of over loading the key words on the content .Search engines often penalize a site if the engine discovers keyword stuffing.it is an unethical one have to avoid and before posting our site we must ensure that the key word density is on required range.
Some people still think you can get away with it, well you can't b/c I tried it once and my rankings went down.
Keyword stuffing is considered to be an unethical search engine optimization (SEO) technique. Keyword stuffing occurs when a web page is loaded with keywords in the meta tags or in content.
Keywords stuffing is a very bad idea as it instantly comes under google scanner and it hampers the site.
It's really just jamming your content full of keywords in order to try and gain 'search engine love'.... used to work some years ago... these days it actually works against you. The se's algorithm's have become so 'smart' that they can detect overuse or misuse of keywords in content because it comes across as unnatural.
yup there is a benefit as long as you keep 'keyword stuffing' in mind....you can use 5-7 or more keywords in an article or post you write as long as you keep 'stuffing' in mind...no matter how many keywords you use...try to keep the density to 1-3%....keyword density is defined as the number of times you used a keyword in your writing...just count all the keywords in your post and divide by the total number of words you have written and this will give you keyword density.....So, yes as long as you keep these things in mind you can use more than one keywords as that will help Google go over the 'related' words more!
In my opinion, keyword stuffing occurs because there is a presumption that reproduce much keyword in an article would make search engines easier to find it.
