i use IBP a seo tool for set my keyword density in whole web page, but as per zeekstern this is good way to optimize a site , this is basic but imp,,, i think keywords are depend on site weight , how is ur site going on in web market and wht is KEI of sites.
Nice informative discussion, I too was looking for the same. H1, H2 tags are also counted in keyword stuffing? how much h1. h2 tags should be used in a single web page. can anybody suggest?
Only ONE h1 tag ever on a page. Never have more than 1. H2 tags - you can have as many as you want. However, be sure you have a couple of sentences minimum following the H2 tag. In other words, never have an H2 tag with one, even two sentences following. If that is all you can write, don't use the H2. H3 tags carry a little weight too. If it makes for good reading, use them too. Zeek
mahendra rajeshirke I have that seo tool it is the free down load version it that the one you have?? I use an array of other seo tools from this TrafficBuildersSite Word Press Blog - the keyword research tools density post has a list of seo tools... I here IBP is also a good one is this free??/ my question lol .....
its not about discrete numbers - percentage is what really matters . i would recommend a 3 to 5 % of keyword stuffing .
H1should never be over stuff nor should H2 tags for many reasons. it sounds to me like it's more about keyword density and only of the keywords as an addition of the content. Search engine optimization takes patience and time to sit there and optimize pages................................ soul that is a matter of how you approach SEo.
Don't keyword stuff your pages at all. What this does is weakens the strength between each of your keywords so you will never rank highly for your key terms or at least find it extremely difficult. Instead focus on 4-5 keywords per page thats what I do and it has been working out great for me.
willyboy104 please shall example by exactly what you mean keyword stuffing I appreciate this you can do this. it has become very relevant that keyword stuffing and webpages and blogs destroy Google page rank. Not only that Yahoo and MSN won't pick you up to. I think by squashing keyword stuffing as an entire bad web presence. More people will start to understand that multiple keyword phrases within a webpage is better meaning you don't have to stuff keywords all over your website. My example of keyword stuffing would be if a person is blogging or writing about massage therapy? they would use the word massage therapy repeatedly................ like this massage therapy is good for the body, massage therapy is good for the spirit, massage therapy is good for the mind, massage therapy is good for healing the mind body and soul all it wants. I think this might be a good example of keyword stuffing for people who try to use the word massage therapy repeatedly within a webpage or an article or a blog post..................... it depends on the content writer magically and majestically using their presence as far as common sense and their approach to content writing for search engines are concerned................. that's my example for the day thank you very much
Good example and yes I agree. Well with out trying I have sort of defined and gave an example of keyword stuffing in my article I wrote this week on keyword density. You can take a look here Please tell me what you think. What is keyword density

No need to stuff zeekstern said it well. If you do good research on your market and keywords no stuffing required.
keyword stuffing is definitely something that you may not want to do as far as getting searches for your webpages articles social book marks and any other application that has to do with Google.com Yahoo.com and MSN.com. E. stuff my keywords about two years ago........... I learned a very valuable lesson and meta-tagging and keyword strategies, Still at some point you may see a few websites that stuff keywords beyond the norm what gets me is how come they still have page rank and they get traffic. Can someone please comment on those who stuff their keywords and still get a decent amount of traffic although I am not a fan of keyword stuffing
First of all you need to know what keyword stuffing is and how it is done. Not sure we are all talking the same thing. My idea of keyword stuffing is basically hiding text from you web page by making it invisible to the reader. This can be done by choosing a font color the same as your background color. You can also do this by placing an image over top of text. Using your keyword phrase too many times can sometimes be considered keyword stuffing. I call it dumbness. If you do that your content will not be worth a hoot..Just provide good content by writing naturally. Give good info. Too many people just don't know how to write good content and don't realize that Google expects certain "other" words in your content. For example, if one of your keywords is computer and that is all you use through out an article or web page, Google might consider that stuffing. Google expects to also see the word "PC". If you write naturally, you will probably automatically use PC. When you do your keyword research, pay attention to the "Synonyms", and use them..
that's a perfect example keyword stuffing, things to avoid obviously. I was suggesting people stuffing too many keywords in the meta-data title tags. That could also hinder your ranking meaning adding too many keywords in the title and the description of a webpage is unnecessary. Another factor is buying a niche keyword domain? zeekstern what is your take on keyword domains in other words a domain like this GanoCoffeeBrand.com copyright is about Gano coffee...... now that a person would use keywords in a domain, could this help traffic and ranking as far as Google.com yellow.com and MSN.com is concerned?? Domain key phrasing is another tactic although people do over stuff keywords in the domain........ why do so many people use these phrases and is it okay as far as keyword stuffing is concerned. Meaning using domain keyword stuffing as a new trend?????
With regards to meta tags and keywords - The Title Tag should contain your main keyword(s). Normally I use the Title of the page and it appears as my <h1> tag. Sometimes I will add an additional phrase if it relates to the keywords AND appears on that page. Remember, each page should have a DIFFERENT Title tag and accurately reflect the contents of that page. An example: <Title: Learn how to train your dog. | Teach your dog to come, sit, and fetch My page would cover both those topics. The description would include the above, but I would expand it a little to provide more info. Niche keyword domain - and keyword stuffing: I'm not sure I understand what you are getting at Aaron. You really can't keyword stuff a domain name. I always include my main keywords in the domain name. For example, how-to-train-your-dog.com. I don't see anything wrong with that. Google does not penalize anyone for domain names and they don't care what you call your site. However, they seem to reward sites that have their main keywords in the url. This is especially true when doing PPC. Using copyright brand names in your domain name is a no no in most cases. If you want to try it, I would first email the company in question and get their permission.
Zeeky ............The Title Tag should contain your main keyword great answer that's a very inclusive justifiable reply. I'm not amazed very relevant to what I would do here. very conclusive because in a short summary you show people here DP exactly how to structure a webpage surrounding the content using the metadata title tags................ sure lights and kudos to the coming your way... Other bases of keyword stuffing and the strategy........... that's another key effort by your search engine optimization series of SE. Was not answered this question myself because the fact their own domain strategy and stuffing domains with keywords have been over sought . What I intend to do is motivate other newbie web designers to the industry. Zeeks thank you for your help......
Keyword density isn't an important SERP factor anymore. Just check out some top ranking sites and you will find a lot with <0,5% keyword density.
I am only assuming that keyword density it isn't an important factor. I highly disagree with that because keyword density needs to be within the title metadata tagging description etc. of a webpage. Now when it comes to content there is definitely a focus or a rainout for that specific keyword phrase density factor with in a webpage. Without key phrasing and keyword density in a webpage you're unlikely to come up in the cervix and the SCE's won't relevant you as a top categorize officials looking web application. And not only that your readers will find you so what good would it do if you don't combine keyword phrases and use keyword density. A webpage without keyword density is like a car with brand-new rimss and tires going down the freeway. people will watch but they won't buy into it"
