    hehe
The more keywords the more traffic (generally).
If the site gets alot of attention your site will be reported to the SE's for keyword spamming by your competition eventually.

I actually do not recommend kw stuffing at all, unless it is for a temporary page that is simply for testing which kws get the most traffic. HAHA

I write sales pages based on ONE high traffic keyphrase.

    lol?
Your not laughing at me are you?

Yes. 15 is the recommended limit. I personally have had the most success with focusing each page on one keyphrase. I include the keyphrase in the title, content, url etc...

If you are talking about the number of keywords in the Meta keyword tag, just put the keyword(s) that your site is optimized for. If you are talking about just throwing out a bunch of keywords throughout your site, don't do it.

In the body, stick to 2%, in the description less than 15% - take the stats with pinch of salt but its more or less accurate. Avoid too much keyword stuffing on new sites though

actually it's around 4% - 8% saturation (not stuffing, entirely different term) per page for a specific keyword

In retro to the stick to 2%, in the description less than 15% that a rather low ratio and somewhat agree with this ;) I assumed the most topical word in the Title tags and the same for key word density....:) green light for poseidon

That depends on the number of words on the page.
Google free keyword density checker and it will check it for you.

It is reccommended to have a maximum of 15-20 keywords and a 120 character decription.

I do not have many keywords but i keep my close and main keywords there...

If you are building a web site that you want to keep around for a long time, do this:

    1. Keywords in Meta tag Title and Description.
    2. Keywords in H1 tag
    3. Keyword in first and last paragraph or bottom of page.

Other then that, provide good content. Google will look for related words/phrases. It should come natural. If you use the Google Keyword research tool, you will see the "suggested alternatives". If you are providing good content, those words will be there automatically.

Don't get hung up on keyword density. There is no magic formuula, other then what I suggested above. Just do the very basics, and provide good original content and the rest will automatically be there.

    Good luck
