If you search for the keyword "filipino community" in google and yahoo check the first result and you will see that they are using hidden text. And still they rank very well
they may also be taken off and banned from google in the future (it wouldnt be hard for some one to report these), and that would be the end of them being indexed on google
Do you know why google has made a page like http://www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html Need not hurry in filling it up, I have done it
I have a this completely unfounded theory that Google is more responsive if they see a large number of spam reports from various IP addresses...
Google sometimes shows 404 error pages in SERPs also. They need to further improve their algorithm to counter such problems and hidden text spam.
Yes they´re content spammers. But... spamming has not made them No.1 in Google. If you check, they have 2500+ inbound links from different domains and that made them No. 1 in Google. Personally, I would suggest them to get rid of that spam as it could be the short and easy road down to hell. Actually, this is the oldest and least working way how to spam. It´s completely useless, just pissing off you, me, Google and the others. You won´t find that site in any SERPs for 99% of the hidden keywords listed in the footer, just try

I still think that site will disappear from search engine results unless they get rid of hidden text.
It's a shame too, coz I don't think that site actually needs to use black hat SEO. It's got a solid PR and great backlinks. Wonder if they'll get warned or just be deindexed by G.
Does Google ban sites using hidden text? I never heard so. Did anybody have a site using hidden text and finally kicked off by Google?
Well to be honest...Probably gonna get flamed lol but... I had a site once that I tried using hidden keywords on and while I didn't get banned I did get a warning and my site dropped down in their ranks. Luckily I had my domain email forwarded to my regular email as most sites I never even log in and check the mail of them as I also post my regular email on sites for people to contact me. After I took them out though and did it the right way it quickly went back up in googles search results. Not a good method to use and it is quite pointless as most people have said in this thread.
Idiots! That site has enough to rank well without the hidden text. They're risking a perfectly good, aged developed site by adding the hidden text. They'll take their hit soon though, something that obvious doesn't last too long anymore.
