    Whats your opinion on keyword spamming? Im not talking about invisible text either... Im referring to some smaller font at the bottom of the page with strings of your keywords in semi-legible sentences.

    I think that on the offchance that someone reports you, it may not be a good idea. There are alot of sites that do get away with it, but you never know when the ban stick may come down.

    It looks so tacky as well. I see a page like that and think it is owned by king of sleeze and move on.

    Good point Shannon. One should be able to effectively use there keywords and phrases in a readable manner. "If you look like a used car saleman with keywords on your page, you will also get treated like a used car saleman from your page. "

    Just my 2 cents ( what some click on my adsense? ) :)

    Thanks for the tips guys. I had done it just alittle bit in the corner of the main page, I will remove it and find some actual strong keyword content for the page instead. It's not hard to take the easy way out, and in the longrun I'm sure its safer as well.

    I don't like it just because it looks unprofessional.

    And, in my opinion, I think it doesn't help a site's SERP.

    From what I gather as of recently is that you used t get banned, but the rule of thumb is if robots see the same thing as people see you're ok.

    Seems as long as you don't cloak or redirect spiders somewhere else you're fine IMO.

    Having a page full of;

    keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword

    Or having one

    <H1>keyword<H1>

    The header tag wins out anyways.
