Hi all how are you this fine Monday? Quick Question: What software do you all use to monitor your SERPs?? I used WebPosition at my old company for a year or so a while back and it was cool... but i don't want to mess with the recurring payments if possible. Right now I am looking at rank tracker. I believe you have to pay for updates as well but its not monthly.. All I need to do is monitor a couple hundred keywords over 4 domains. My question is, what programs do you guys use/suggest? Is there any thing new that I should be checking out? do you have a preference of one of these over the other?? I have market samurai and also monitor my main keywords manually with a couple other tools but i would love to have something that works easily with multiple domains, hundreds of keywords, shows improvements/drops over time, and can spit out reports. Thanks in advance. Once again im failry familiar was just wondering if you guys know something i dont or have a preference... -Asif
I would recommend trying the DigitalPoint keyword tracking tool on this web site. I have used it for years and like the fact that it uses Google's official API to check the rankings as I don't like to do anything that might anger Google for example software that makes 100s of automated requests to check rankings. I recommend purchasing the premium digital point membership so you can check the first 100 Google results and also setup the script to check rankings once a day automatically.
I've used RankTracker, it got the job done. But honestly SEO Power Suite has a lot of options, and that's what I use.
I'm using rank checker now but I've found that it doesn't always seem to be accurate for certain keywords. Completely baffled as to why. I haven't invested in a premium option to this point but I'm now considering doing so as I now run several websites.
I don't quite understand the rankings given by rank checker sometimes. I can see my listing as No. 4 when I type in keyword in google, but rank checker insists I'm on 12. Maybe it's something I'm missing?
