Has anybody done any research to see if keyword search patterns are generally the same across various search engines? For example, I did a search for 'whitehouse' on the Google External Keyword Tool (phrase match), KeywordDiscovery, and the SEOBook Tool.

    Google
    --------
    whitehouse - 368,000
    whitehouse com - 27,100
    whitehouse gov - 27,100
    www whitehouse - 22,200
    the whitehouse - 14,800

    Keyword Discovery
    ---------------------
    whitehouse - 3,068
    amy whitehouse - 621
    whitehouse current news - 512
    the whitehouse - 124
    jane whitehouse - 88

    SeoBook
    ----------
    whitehouse - 1,035
    amy whitehouse - 86
    jane whitehouse - 67
    james whitehouse - 63
    village of whitehouse - 55

I know SEOBook and Keyword Discovery are meta search tools, but this would seem to imply that keyword search patterns at the various engines is not the same. I got similar results for other queries i did (e.g. madonna, microsoft, etc.)

    Thoughts?

I've noticed that ever since google started showing numbers that all of their numbers are way over inflated compared to other keyword tools. Can't trust anyone anymore:))
I've heard that even Wordtracker uses Google.
