I am getting ready to register a new domain and I have used the google keyword search tool and picked 2 high searched names in my field.

    My questions are:

    1)
Is is smart to do that picking a higher searched word knowing I will have to complete with more people?

    2) Should my domain since it is 2 keywords be like applebanana.com or is apple-banana.com better?

Without a hyphen is better since it available , with a hyphen might cause your domain sound spammy and hard to remember the hyphen in your domain .
Picking high search keywords unnecessary is good because it usually high competition on those keywords. Go to the niche keywords will be better

    Hi,

It is recommended to use the keyword in the domain to get faster SEO results but only one keyword should be targeted (either apple or banana).

avoid hyphens in the domain name. in unavoidable circumstances, using one hyphen in the domain is fine.

absolutely. there will be no traffic and no point of ranking if there are not enough searches
applebanana.com is better, hyphens in the domain name are BAD

    Hi Mark
If you use that high volume(higher searched) keyword domain, sure you will on top of the search.out of how many billions on results.but that won't give you traffic all along.

Pick a keyword for your domain that has less than 15 million results (when you google it) this will help you get in first position for a complete search pretty easy. It's better to pick the domain without the dash.
