I have purchased a domain www.price-comparison-sites.co.uk in the aim to get the keyword price comparison sites up the rankings, but now I can't aim for 'price' comparison sites, but only "comparison sites". Will this domain still be powerful? (Obviously I know SEO comes in all shapes and forms but just regarding the domain) Best Regards Mischa
yes it is powerful. It is not helping much for raking. But you have more visibility, that's help for CTR. yahoo and msn help's keyword domain bit more than google.
It can be targeted to both keywords with no problem, it won't have a negative effect. That domain won't get many types in, due to the dashes it makes it hard to remember by web visitors.
