Based on my experience, you need to build links on it in order to increase the ranking. There is no specific quantity amount of works for you to do in order to obtain 1st position ranking. I can say a good exact match domain name is a good start. You will get faster return of your investment.

For example, you wont straight away get 1st page ranking for a high search volume keyword if that domain is not an exact match domain name. It takes times and money to achieve 1st page ranking. Now you can straight away get 1st page ranking and start your work to achieve 1st position. It is a huge different

 

Whats the difference between .com and .org?
I notice that www carseataccessories com is also gone, would this affect anything?

omg @sanchiezta what are you trying to accomplish with your response exactly? why not concentrate on your own sales, instead of bringing other's down, whether .com or not, this is a valuable keyword domain site, if you're not interested simply don't bid

 

You apparently have little clue as to how Google operates.

While a .com TLD will typically rank well for commerical endevours, most .orgs do not rank well on Google, due to the fact they are not true - organizations - under the US IRS Code 501C3 (which explains what an organization is)

As such most of the commercial based sites with a .org TLD will never see much success from organic SERPs

Hope you have learned something and try not to bash someone when you do not know all of the issues yourself.

I understand that the ranking will keep dancing because the domain is still new and the website has not acquire any backlinks currently, but it doesn't mean that a .org domain do not rank well on Google due to the fact they are not true - organizations

I never mean that once you purchase this domain it can start earning without you doing anything. You would still have to build links and develop it in order to maintain and increase the search engine ranking, and most important part increase traffic and earnings! For me, it is better than I develop a .com or a .net domain which I cant even found on Google. Do you know how long times you need to develop a new .com domain until it has a good ranking?
