How to finalize keywords for the site. Is there any free tool available for keyword research rather than google tool

 

Well, I would suggest you to finalize by your own. This is your creativity what keyword you want to place in your site and what not. Put only those which can help your site to rank on search engine as well to grab relevant traffic. I did it for www.ideazinc.com few weeks before and get good no. of hits aferwards.

 

Apart from Google, I use Paid tools like SERPAnalytics , as this gives you a keyword suggestion which is based on both i.e. your niche based and for your website based. I use the Google Keyword Tool for ascertaining the search volume of a given keyword - this would usually be expressed as the number of searches per month (local and global). I choose Global as that pertains to my market.

Once you have worked out that there is a high level of demand for your keyword (and there can be quite a bit of trial and error with this) you will then need to find out what the competition is like. For this, you can simply type your keyword into Google enclosed in quotation marks - like this, "online dating london" and see what the number of pages is. As a general rule of thumb, if the number is less than 150,000 competing pages there is sufficient room for more players in that niche.
