    I think when it comes to keyword research, many people opt for the keywords with the most traffic but sometimes, they don't convert. For example, instead of a keyword such as "buy ice cream" go for keywords such as "buy ice cream in LA".

    Market Samurai is a decent tool to use. It has a full version and a free version where only the keyword research part is enabled.
