When I try to find the page my blog is ranked at Google directory from the keywords blogger scans, I can't find my url. My blog is new yet, but the real reason I am doing this thread is: If a person make the same search from other Country or browser to Google always, will he/she have the same results on his/shes screen?

I found that when I am logged in Google and logged out, I get different results, especially when it comes to my sites. As far as I know, Google learns about your preferences and delivers results based on them. So they probably could get different results than you do.

When I am logged into my Google account and do a search on a keyword for one of my sites, it is ranked #3. When I log out it is ranked #5.

How do you explain that? I checked it more times and asked friends to check as well.

why does that make a difference? Its similar for different keywords, not just one.

I also read about that on some blogs.

This looks like its gonna develop in a discussion who is right and who is not. I just tried to help and told eclair what I see when I do a search.

I tried it from Europe and USA and it brought different results. But I guess I probably don't know, I have only been online for about 2 years.

I still think he/she should ask a friend from another country to log out and do a search, that will give him the best picture.

Your answer helps a lot. Thank you and there is no need of argument, it is a discussion. :)

I am in for that always. But seriously, get someone from abroad to Google some words you are interested in. I get different results when logged in or out. Then different results from different countries. The reason I didn't list keywords is cause I checked so many last time I was checking my rankings. I even, at times, got different results based on what Google was I using, was it .com or one of the other versions.

I'm not sure if this will help but TrafficTravis has a drop down where you can search the different countries versions of Google. I use it quite a bit with my niches since they are CDN and US based.

Eclair, Google results varies by geotargeting to specific countries/locations, so people will get different results unless you got a lot of inbound links.

OK, I have another idea. I just found a free tool that you can use to check stuff.

It is free for one blog/site and if you want to keep track on multiple sites you will have to upgrade to pro version. But free version will be good for you to check this.

First of all let me tell you that you can choose a bunch of Google options, countries and languages. The results are different.

But check your blog on your own, you can check more than that one keyword.

I am a new member so I am not sure if I am allowed to post links so go to Cuterank dot net. It is a little software you can download and install. I tried it out for a few days, and compared it to Market Samurai and it seems to be accurate.

Hope this will help you get out of this country confusion, lol
