i'll advice against market samurai. it's pretty useless now that it can't fetch some essential results in keyword research like the intitle figures. stay away from it if you will or can.

    all the best.

    1. analyse the targeted keywords in Google keyword tool
    2. check ones by submitting only keywords
    3. check by submitting only the website URL
    4. check by submitting the both
    5. export all selected to excel file
    6. analyse those that have high searches (if your site is local and multilanguage, than put your attention to local searches)
    7. choose those that have high searches with low compatition
    8. choose exact keywords
    9. choose more specific to your site key phrases
    10. analyse what keywords your competitors use. You may use that keywords also

be sure, to use unique keywords for each webpage. aftet you select your keywords, use them more in your anchor texts and backlinks

    Question:
let's say we have a "how to eat a soup properly" keyword that has a high monthly search volume
which domain name should I choose best:

    eatsoupproperly.com
    howtoeatsoupproperly.com
    or
    howtoeatasoupproperly.com

    ??

    I'm being serious :D
    What would someone recommend me?

from Google keyword tool you can see that the main keywords have high searches and low competition.
    • [how to] 1,220,000
    • [eat] 165,000
    • [soup] 60,500

If your site will include instructions on how to eat soup than the ideal domain will be
    howtoeatsoup.com

    bon appetit!:)

Yes, but that was just an example.
Apart from the fact that you cant always take for granted everything that GKT tells you, and you should use it as refference with other tools available, Market Samurai being one of the most popular and one that often comes in handy, each of the phrases: "how to" "eat" "soup" in this example is a too general phrase and if you would focus on a phrase that consists from all three of them, you can only look at them that way, as a three part, four words long phrase.
Well, this goes for majority of cases, at least, even though it's a bit generalized.
    Am I right here?

    And my question still stands:

Let say I have a domain to register that should be based around a phrase:

    how to convert an mp3

    convertmp3.com
    convertanmp3.com
    howtoconvertanmp3.com
    or
    howtoconvertmp3.com

I believe the "an" isn't necessary, and I can drop it right out of bat, but I'm still uncertain about the "howto" do I need it or not?

    Cheers!

p.s. whish I knew what "keyword browse-node application" is, than I could help a bit the user above me..
