I am interested in everyone's opinion. What are the best ways you have found to do keyword research?

If your not making substantial money online, than the free tools are the best - Google Keyword Tool, Traffic Travis ( The free version). If you already make money online, and you can afford it - than my personal choices are Micro niche finder, and Keyword Elite 2.

    Hope this helps,

    Jack

    Easy to do.

Open an Adwords account as an advertiser. They will then give you a list of the most typed-in keywords to use.

    Done.

I use Google adword tool. I think the differences that most people have is what criteria they use to choose their keyword. In my opinion, that is where the secret sauce lies.

Of course the Google Keyword Research Tool is the go to tool since it comes straight from the source and it's free, however there are great tools out there that use the Google results and make finding a niche a piece of cake.

GET MARKET SAMURAI, you will be amazed with this tool. You can get the FREE trial version and you will see exactly what I'm talking about. Actually you just need to watch the free videos that they have and you will see how powerful this tool is. I provided a link to Market Samurai to the FREE trial version in my signature. You can also view the free videos.

I will put myself in the shoes of a buyer. What words will come into my mind if I want to buy the product?

I think you got the idea.
