Doing keyword research incorrectly is a surefire way to void any future efforts towards ranking your website. Finding a keyword that is easy to rank and has enough searches per month to justify the work spent putting the site together should take at least 1 - 2 hours. Settling on the first so-so keyword you come across could be the difference between page one on Google or page two. What's the solution? Find a REALLY good keyword. One that won't take much effort to rank and has at least 1,000 searches. This will ensure that when you rank your keyword, you will have enough targeted traffic to your website to convert into a decent profit. How do I find such a keyword? That's the million-dollar question. Getting the answer correct is the difference between flipping or flopping a website. There are many tools available to help find rankable keywords. Some of my favorites are: Google Adwords KeywordTool.io SEM Rush Being able to use these tools effectively and adding a dash of your own intuition and common sense is the best way to net you a top-notch keyword. The issue is, who has the time and money for trial and error? That's why I am bringing my Keyword Research Service to the members of Digital Point. I have already completed years of trial and error which have resulted in being able to find successful keywords quickly and rather easily. I take the guessing completely out of the equation. "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." Section 2: The Keyword Research Method How do I do it? I use the Google suggestion box to break root keywords into longer-tail keywords. I then run the longer keywords through Google Adwords with search number filters in place to automatically remove the lower searched keywords. I then check each keyword's competition in the Google Search Results. Before you applaud me on the hard work I am doing, I should note that I have a highly skilled team that does most of this for me based on a very specific algorithm. Out of 1,000 keywords checked, the average return of rankable keywords is about 5. There aren't many left, but they are out there! “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing. ” Section 3: Past Success Stories Before today, I have never offered a keyword research service to the public. Success Story #1: Just a few weeks ago, I found a keyword with 2,400 searches that fit my requirements for being "easily rankable". I registered the .com EMD immediately and developed a quick Wordpress site in about 2 hours. I then spent the rest of the afternoon creating 5 articles, each one targeting the main keyword and close cousins of the keyword. I choose to create content myself so I can ensure the quality. I scheduled each article to publish every other day. I installed Yoast SEO as well as Wordfence Security plugins so I can track the Google Bot. Success Story #2: I was doing some keyword research to find content for extra content to publish to an already developed website. It's always smart to do keyword research before writing new blog posts so that you don't spend the time writing an article that won't get much organic exposure. I was able to find a keyword that was so good, it wouldn't do it justice to just create an article out of it. I was able to develop it into it's own website with an EMD .com. I operate 10 - 15 websites at a time. For the amount of time I choose to invest each day, I feel that this number of websites gives me just the right amount of work. However, I never stop doing keyword research. I do keyword research every single day to give me new ideas for content. A lot of times, I come across a keyword that has the "juice" to be it's own website. Normally, I would act upon these keywords by developing the website, however if I already have too many websites going - I just skip them. One day I woke up and thought to myself, what in the world am I doing? I am basically finding pure gold and throwing it away. That's when I decided I just HAD to start offering a keyword research service to the general public. So, here I am. Q: $100.00 is a lot of money, why so much? This was a tough decision actually. I really have no idea how much this service should cost. Maybe my price point is a little off, I don't really know! I calculated the time it takes to research each keyword plus the potential profit after you rank the keyword and arrived at what I think is a fair price for such a priceless commodity. Unfortunately that's just not possible. I find keywords while already pursuing certain niches for my own websites, so I just won't have enough time to cater to each niche independently. All of the keywords come from a wide array of niches. I don't do gambling or adult, so no need to worry about that. If you absolutely must have a certain keyword, I may be able to do it privately for an extra charge. Just send me a message. Some niches are easier than others, so it would really depend. Q: Will the keyword be longtail? Not really. The keywords are usually 3 word and 15 total characters, on average. Q: How long will it take to rank the keyword? Man, I wish I knew the answer to that question. It would make life SO much easier! There are many variables at play with your keyword. No keyword research service could guarantee you ranking in a certain amount of time, because it's just not possible to estimate. On page factors, quality of content and a hundreds of other variables are at play when it comes to ranking keywords. On average, my keywords rank in 2 - 3 months with 20 high quality articles published. This is just an estimate of course. The better you are at general SEO, the faster you will get to the first page.
