    Hi guys,
This is Joy. I'm doing SEO since 2011 both On page & Off page optimization. But here I've a problem that I'm quite weak on Keywords research. I've read many blog to improve myself but I can't generate superior keywords for my clients. I need a smart keyword research report such as sample so that I can understand what is it actually! Moreover I'm not sure that which tool is best of for kw research. though I've used google adwards.

So guys suggest me that how can I improve my kw researching skill & first time which tool will be best for me. Waiting for your valuable information.
    Thanks. :)

I see xtremeseller is now banned - but I'll reply anyway:

    Sorry, I was too cryptic

LSI is "latent semantic indexing" and the aspect of it that concerns us is keyword research to find "related" search phrases

Google expects a top ranking authority site to be like a text book with an index - i.e. the site covers the topic completely

The Google keyword tool will not give you a good enough list of keywords - neither will most keyword tools - because they usually get their data from the Google keyword tool

Their prices are way out of our league but you can pick up free info from themezoom.com and see how the SEOs with big-money clients do their keyword research

Hi, hrjoy29 After 15 years doing keyword research and site-building, I've developed my own way to keyword research using a combination of freee and paid-for software If I could afford it, I'd use themezoom.com tools - but since the 2008 crash, I'm no longer a big-time SEO/Web Developer All I can really say is, it's a 2 stage process: Stage 1 using LSI, map out the site blueprint Stage 2 using analysis of top 10 sites map out the keyword phrases necessary for the site's on-page content - i.e. find out what search phrases need to be on every page of the site in order to compete with the existing top 10 sites (I try and get page #1 Google ranking for every page of the site - and I build 100+ page sites) When I did this years ago for clients, the cost was usually 3 thousand dollars to get a site online + a monthly ongoing fee to build out the site over the first year, in order to spread out the cost, and workload I no longer believe that small sites stand a chance of long-term page #1 rankings in Google - and even big sites need a LSI based silo structure and content if they are to survive Google's rampage

There are many steps towards a good keyword researcha and analysis report. First keep your niche in mind and brainstorm all the keywords that are even distantly related to that. Then do an analysis of your competitors and see for which keywords they are ranking and focusing on. Put these two lists together and use a keyword research tool for checking which terms are more popular and are returning high on investment. Prune the list and select those most appropriate. This is the most basic thing you can do for keyword analysis...

Unfortunately, Google doesn't provide SEO competition, only Adwords competition. You need to find something that offers lots of SEO competition data.

Yes, Google Adwords keyword tool does not provide the SEO competition. Isn't the SEO competition a number of pages Google has indexed for certain keyword?

    Thank-you and you are welcome!

Yes, you can use a tool that scrapes from sources other than Google keyword tool. Some scrape from Amazon and Google search results!

A simpler way to understand LSI is to try to always include associated terms that naturally should be there if X is the main keyword. The 'index' need not be comprehensive, so long as the addition of enough related words feels natural.

If the keyword is "Lord of the Rings" but the text doesn't also mention Tolkien, Frodo, Mordor, Gandalf, etc, it will appear artificial to Google, and therefore spammy. If it mentions the other terms way too much, it may come off as keyword stuffing, thus once again artificial, so use the terms in a balanced way.
