Keyword Research for particular areas(local)?

    I need to do some Keyword Research for a client in particular areas(local) as well as country wide, like South Africa. I was just wondering, if there are such keyword tools or ways to do such kind of research ?

    Yes, you can use google trends to get information like that.

    If you use this string:
    http://www.google.com/trends?q=male+yeast+infection,+date+girls

    And just change the "date girls" into random words you will be able to determine average daily search for that keyword.

    Male yeast infection has approx 500 searches a day.

    You can change regions in the right upper corner.
