Keyword relevancy in Domain name

I am trying to buy a domain for certain keywords which are already snatched by others.

However i noticed that a domain name is available if i reverse the order of the keywords.

Like if i say, mortgageloan.com is taken but loanmortgage.com is available.

Do you think selecting loanmortage.com will be good enuff? does it hold the same value in SEO or Search engines? will SE look at it differently or give importance to keyword and neglect it saying its spelled wrongly?

    What say?

To some extent they do. Did you consider adding few words in the end like loanmortgage4u?

You could also use mortgage-loan.com which would give the same SEO leverage as mortgageloan.com.

Google does not mind the switch in keywords. I bought OnlineFreebies.org and it ranks #4 for "Online Freebies" and #4 for "Freebies Online".

    Welcome to the club :)

The order matters. Not much but it matters. SEs give importance to the exact match query like [mortgage loan]. Plus when you'll get backlinks you'll have the anchor "loan mortgage" instead of the more desired "mortgage loan"

My advice is to get something like mortgageloanonline.com so you'll have better chances to rank for "mortgage loan" plus you'll compete for "mortgage online" or "loan online"
