Keyword Rankings Dropped Sudenlly

Hi,
I'm working for(http://www.bigtowers.co.in/) new site from last 4 months. I got good rankings(1,2,3 pages) for all my keywords on 22 July, 2014 but suddenly they dropped on 1 Aug, 2014 moved to 200+ spots. Wats the problem here? Any help will be appreciated. Its a Google Dance?

 

First check in your Google webmasters tool, if there is any message for penalty or warning. If not, probably it would be a Google dance, so be patience and wait for sometimes.

 

I've checked in Google webmaster Tools also, there is no penalty or warning message.

 

Then wait for a week or two and post quality content on regular basis. Also keep updated with any new algorithmic updates.

There was a recent update that seemed to jumble the search results around a bit, try to wait it out and see if anything goes back before doing anything major.

 

Have you done lots of press releases?

I am reading on forums (On this forum ) too that Google is targeting press release sites, hence links in press release are also affected.

 

I've not used press releases at all.

 

Then just keep updating your content. Wait and watch. If still no improvement, try PPC for sometime.

Bottom line is that you should get business no matter what the procedure is.

 

You can stop keywords ranking, off page activities in a week. You check your on-pages activities of your websites.

At this moment, you need to analyze On-page of website, take a break from Off-page activities... to see fluctuations in ranking in week or 15 days......

I've noticed there are same content of home & about us page on footer. It'll affect rankings?

 

I wonder if the size of the site, or the authority is big enough, meaning, I wonder if you have enough content for each ranking to support them in the highest ranks

 

If it's been 4 months, it's highly unlikely this is just a simple google dance and more chances this is a penalty. The fact that you have no notification in google webmaster tool does not mean much - that is only for manual penalties- algorithmic penalties are not reflected there. So start thinking what could be the problem, backlink profile most probable.

 

I agree with Ferzy here, I think you should do a backlink audit. You can do that by downloading all the links from GWT to check if there are any spammy or irrelevant links. If there are any, you can disavow them.

 

Is your website is new , because new website rank well in starting & but after some time the result will start dropping. Just be patience at that time, they will rank again after some time.

If the site speed is below 4 seconds then its okay otherwise it might increase your bounce rate
