There are some things i do not understand about keywords.

Let's say i find a keyphrase for my website made out of 3 words:

    word1 word2 word3

When i search with the google keyword tool i find 60 000 searches a month and 2 milion results on google search. Then i tried to change word position and discovered that in this order : word2 word1 word3 google returns 40 000 searches a month and 490 000 results on search which means less competition.

This search was with setting Match Type: Broad. If i change to Exact Match for first keyword are 18 000 searches and for second only 36.

How should i choose the best keywords for me ? Broad or Exact. I mean, i was so excited, i thought i found a good keyword but after reading about these settings i am so dissapointed.

It is best to use exact match when doing keyword research. Broad match is more helpful when looking for keyword trends and trying to plan keywords for an entire website.
