Are there just simply keywords that google will not allow you to get a good quality score with? I mean, I do some research, find a keyword that i think will be profitable, then throw up an ad only to have a keyword quality score of 3?? What's that all about?? My landing pages are keyword rich and my websites have all the neccessary ingrediants so what gives?
If that keyword has had a bad ctr with other advertisers, then they may use that historical data in the absence of there being data in your account to base a QS on. So, in a nutshell, yes.
what you think and what g thinks are different. you mention you find a keyword, then you say your page is already keyword rich ? is it the same key by accident or have you got ying and yang?
If we were to use an agency would they be able to use their existing rankings to get us better results, or do they need to start from scratch just like we would
They have the knowledge and experience from handling accounts everyday worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, but the QS and account history from one account doesn't help another. And your QS gets reset everytime you change an ad or url.
Thats correct you QS is reset every time you cahnge your url or ad...It's just the way it is SUCKS..I know but that's the nature of the beast...
Ad title should be the keyword rich in the landing page for better quality score if "free xbox" is your ad title, then the landing page should have title included "free xbox" + free xbox related article should be present in the landing page - this gives the best quality score!
