how do you optimize each keyword in your landing page, so that for each different keyword, you use a different destination url, so for each ad groups you will have a high quality score for each keyword related to each ad group and landing page ?

so far i can only get a google qs of 7 (max for some keywords) then that varies come back the next day and look and its a 4 or 3

Its going to be rare to get a 10 so I won't worry about it.

I've just tried an experiment, using the destination url for a new keyword, using the keyword as the title of the html and also the subdirectory named the keyword. keyword in the page title (only 1 word), in description aswell

Now how long does it take for adwords to pick up and calculate a new quality score based on the changes I've just made ? 1/2 hours/days?

    ;)

There are a few other variable that Google considers in it's quality score rating such as account history and previous campaign performances.

Here's an experiment you can try....

Do a Google search for any keyphrase such as Blue widgets

Now you would think that if you were to create a well optimized ad For Blue Widgets and point it to that site, that it would easily be worthy of a 10/10 quality score.

Go ahead and try it... I'll bet you still won't achieve a 10/10 quality score!

    ... Getting 10/10 is difficult

Once you have your landing page sorted then its a case of buying a higher quality score by putting in a bid high enough to get you more traffic. The more traffic the more google thinks your site is good and your QS will go higher. As it goes higher back of the bid a bit.

The benefit of having a 10/10 QS compared to a 8/10 QS is negligible most of the time. The only time it may have a significant benefit is in highly competitive keywords.

Remember the quality score is a measure of relevance. If you make your landing page and text ad as relevant as possible to the keyword, you should be fine.
