keyword qs question

once a keyword becomes inactive, will it stay inactive for that specific min bid forever? I've had keywords with great ctr become inactive for some reason and I'm unwilling to pay more to get it online again.

also... is there a way to mass upload campaigns without having to go through the step by step process?

I've heard they do re-review your landing page every so often and if you've made improvements, this will improve your quality score. Hasn't happened to me though.

I found the easiest way to improve the keywords is to delete them out of the ad group in question and paste them into a new adgroup with the ads pointing at a new domain (which has been optimised for quality).

From time to time inactive keywords may be tested (activated) to reevaluate their quality.

The best way to make mass changes to an account is the AdWords Editor.

Re-edit from a campaign level so the Google bot refreshes

do a new campaign, or change something in a current one, and google will re-check your site for QS.

    According to???

From what I've seen simply changing a campaign/ad group does not automatically cause your LP score to be recalculated. LP QS tends to get updated/reevaluated once every few weeks, monthly at a minimum.

Yeah, Chicago you're right actually, only if you submit a new campaign will it re-evaluate your site. I don't know why I wrote that, I just wasn't paying attention.
