I am having a few problems with a few keyword phrases, the king of keywords in my business is removals and at the moment I am ranked at position 210 accrording to google webmaster so to try and localise things I have included key word phrases such as removals blackpool, removals preston and removals blackburn, now removals blackpool gets me on page 1 no problem but removals preston and removals blackburn are nowhere to be seen and they don't even appear in google webmaster search queries, I have postioned all the keywords in my website www.stubbsintmovers.com and in my blogs Any ideas ?
basically google webmaster give result after some time, when update your website data in it's data, then the show proper result to you in webmaster.
I put up a site for 'removal swansea' and you should find that you will rank highly for your main domain name keyword so I would assume that Blackpool is now seen as your main target keyword. Write a seperate page for each, Preston and Blackburn. Then start backlinking to those pages and you will see them rise in the rankings.
The fist thing you'll want to do is put your keywords into your title tag!! Your title tag reads: "Family owned Removal and storage company established in 1934". The only relevant keywords in your title tag are "removal company" and "storage company". Put your other keywords into your title so it reads something like "Removal and Storage in Blackburn, Preston, [etc.] | Family Owned since 1934!" That should help quite a bit.
Keyword winner is limited to wordpress and blog post headlines, not really useful if you want to determine the overall SEO strategy for a website, SY
We'll, I experienced the same thing on my blog, limited results. I hope he should think of something that might give more results to every short or long-tailed keyword to be analyzed on the blog's headline. He should do something like new version upgrades, etc. We need lots of keyword results, not limited for keyword researching.
