Keyword Popularity Tool - Suggestions?

Just wondering what tool everyone is using now to research keyword popularity?

 

Here are some tools that I have pulled from this thread As well as doing a simple SE search. I use a few of them if one is slow, times out et cetera.

I use overture and keyworddiscovery as well as DPs.

 

I use google Adwords Keyword tool and it gives very accurate results!.The DP keyword tool is good too.

I haver used this tool, http://www.123promotion.co.uk/ppc/index.php for many years and find it to be by far the best!

 

I have used this tool, Ad Word Analyzer for easy first check competition on google and msn ppc.

 

I think MicroNicheFinder is great. Nichebot is awfully slow.

 

it seems keyword discovery is pretty good. but i don't really understand the data. what does it base it's data on? in other words, which search engines, and are the results that it gives based on a 1-year estimate or several years?

I'm using worldtracker.com, but for me one of the best one was overture, but it is not longer right now...

I would recommend overture and wordtracker although overture is usually dead.
